EARLY LIFE AND MILITARY
Jessica Dawn Lynch was born on April 26, 1983, in Palestine, West Virginia. Although she appreciated her home, she always wanted to see and experience much more than her homeland borders could provide her. Ever since she was a child, her strong and firm spirit has been an important tool in pursuing her dreams about helping other people and trying to make the world a better place.
Jessica joined the military right after graduating from Wirt County High School. The military was the first step which provided her with some special skills and sharpening self-discipline. She found it necessary for her future job as a teacher. Her dream was to be a proper role model and to help further generations in every possible way she could. Determined and disciplined as always, she completed her basic and advanced training in the Quartermaster Corps in Fort Lee, West Virginia and became unit supply specialist.
Her life path took her away from home, but that was something she had always been after.
,, I wanted to improve my life and not just be there in Palestine forever.” She said.
However, going away from home took her to some unpredicted situations. The worst one faced her with the cruel reality of the fact that terrorism isn’t just something you can only read about – September 11 attack.
